No, sorry, drinking bleach does not clean out your system. In fact, it's a really bad method of trying to pass a marijuana drug test.

Luckily, there are safer (and more effective) ways to get the drug out of your system!

Passing a marijuana test by drinking bleach
Unfortunately, you're not the first person to consider drinking bleach to pass a drug test. In fact, people all over the country are doing it.

Here's a list of the potential outcomes you can look forward to if you sip on the domestic cleaning product:

  • Chemical burns to esophagus and stomach
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Severe abdominal pain
The idea that bleach will clean your insides the same way it cleans a bathroom floor is just nonsensical. There is not one piece of scientific evidence to back it up.

Don't you think that, if this was a real method of passing a drug test, then big pharmaceutical companies like GlaxoSmithKline would be marketing bleach-based products and making some serious dollars off it?

The secret to passing a drug test
If you really want to increase your chances of passing a drug test, then there are two things you can do:

  • Drink lots of water
  • Exercise a lot
Going down this route will help flush the marijuana metabolites out of your urine. However, if you're going to be blood or hair-follicle tested, then you're pretty much screwed!

This person doesn't know what the hell they are talking about!

There are several things that will help clean your system, just depends on how much you smoke:

Water flushes, vinegar, a cap full of bleach disguised in milk, anything that cleanses your system basically will help.

It takes a month for time alone to clean your system. Some people don't have that long!

Take a few shots of vinegar (from a shot glass), drink plenty of water and cranberry juice. Tons. It'll be out of your system in a few days.

Definitely don't drink bleach for God's sake! Water and cranberry juice don't help either - you just need to wait until it goes out of you naturally. It should be a couple of days if you don't smoke it regularly, but it can be up to a week if you smoke it constantly like me.
