I have always heard that THC the active ingredient in marijuana can be detected for instance by urinalysis for up to 30 days. I imagine the new testing methods which are very sensitive to detecting extremely small amounts of a substance would prove this to be true. As far as I know THC is one chemical that stays absorbed in body fat and is very slow to be eliminated by the human system.
