It takes 3 days to be out of your system. In chronic users, it can take 5-7 days to fully be out of the system.

I took to tabs and got to drug test tomorrow. What could I do to get it out of my system by 9 o clock.

I don't understand why there are so many people with different answers. For example, one  place states the chronic user will metabolize faster than one who is only an occasional user. The long term periods are from people who just want you to stress. In my experience, five days max if that.

It was my 1st time taking vicodin ? I took one pill around 10 pm on thursday night friday around 3 pm I took a urine test I don't know if they test for that for pre employment but do you think I will be ok .. Before I took the test I drank a lot of water and teas and gatorade I pissed like 6 times before I took the test please help ? The pill was vicodin 5mg/500

First in regards to the first answer to this question. We don't need to be lectured. Pompous people need not reply. I think the writer of the question knows not to take a prescription drug without a prescription and probably has.....duh! Does this make you a druggie? No, not if you have a flu, serious back strain, muscle strain etc. And take your spouses or friend's one time "let me help you remedy". Not everyone is addictive. It is the addictive slobs in this world that make everyone else have to live in  much more pain then need be. I had to get very aggressive with my physician who has known me for years just to get some pain meds for the flu. I finally said I am a fourty year old Nurse who doesn't drink, smoke or eat sugar who the hell is he to judge me and treat me like a junkie because for the first time in what five years I am asking for some pain relief. Jeez.
To answer the  question. Yes one hydrocodone will show up in a drugscreen after 17 hours. You need a few days to get it out of your system. If you are required to take a drugscreen then get some strong green tea and drink as much as possible, eat Tums, bananas, stay away from acidic food. 3 days...heavier dosages 7-10 days. Not to much water, more teas and Gatorade. You don't want your urine to be fully diluted or they ll know. Take vitamins and b-12. Good luck

Really depends on the strength and what you took or drank with it, but probably yes...by the way, don't take stuff like that unless prescribed by a Physician...O.K.?

I have been on norco six times a day for a year. I have inoperable cervical issues. In the middle of this month my daughter was diagnosed with leukemia and I had to stay in the hospital with her several days. The stress and the cots made my pain increase and I took more than prescribed some days, therefore at the end of the month I was short. I took 40mg eight days before testing, and 60mg the 7-1st day before testing and 10 mg the morning of testing. Will my urine levels be ok. My Dr. Said they should be around 3700?? . I have no idea who was doing a lecture on here but I can state clearly a lecture is better than not giving one!

This is not just a dangerous drug but for those of us who have very serious illnesses that need to take the medication, addicts make it extreamly difficult for legit patients to get these meds so a lecture is 100% best policy since it is obvious people do not get it. It is not pomus. It is prudent so I'd say to the other poster to get off the drugs. Get into rehab or relocate to a druggie nation like Mexico. You are a burden on our system!

It depends on the quality of the screen test, most screen tests only show basic drugs such as marijuana, cocaine, meth, etc. But there are narcotic screen tests.
