All it will show up as is an opiate thety don't test for different opiates just if you have opiate in your system and both oxy and hydro are opiates

Depends on the test , but yes, Oxycontin is a a slow-release formulation of oxycodone, breaks down into oxymorphone .Hydrocodone breaks down into hydromorphone. But also frequent recent use or high dose of oxycodone may leave enough morphine in the body to be detected like "opiate"
Detection period in urine for both oxycodone and hydrocodone its approx. 3-5 days ,longer for frequent use (up to 2-3 weeks),standard hair test- 90 days  (longer for body hair), saliva swab test- 1-4 days to max.10-12days , blood test - 3-10 days (and longer for frequent use). Have on mind oxy its 5-10 times stronger then hydro and detection its longer, also slow -release type of pill can be detected for longer then regular type of same pill.

No. They are both narcotic analgesics. Oxycodone is stronger, so the blood result may show a higher concentration of a "Narcotic."

No, they would not, although hydro and oxy are both opiates, they are detected different. When a drug screening is performed they test for opiates, but also specifically oxycodone, methodone, and propoxephene

On a screen test they would show up as opiates but when further confirmed by wither GC/MS or LC/MS/MS the hydrocodone will confirm as hydrocodone and possibly its metabolite hydromorphone; the oxycodone with confirm as oxycodone and possible its metabolite oxymorphone.

I don't think it will, I bought a saliva test online and it was testing for opi and I snorted about 40mg the day before and tested right when I woke up and it tested neg. So I'm thinking and the research that I have done it wont.  The test kit has to say OXY on it. Not OPI... OPI will only test for morphine and codeine.  So I think we are all in the clear.  I have a test at a new job in a few days and I know what kit they use.   I will post the out come, because if it comes up positive, ive just wasted 3 years of school.  I will loose my license..lol.. That would suck.. Ive been using for just a couple of months here and there, 20 to 40mg a day and tappering to 5mg a day and feel like ants are crawling through my bones and can't sleep without moving around,, sucks ass.. But I will post the out come.. Later homies...

In a quick test they can tell that there are two types of codine meds but need a lab test to tell what kinds exactly
If you are going to a Dr. They will send it to a lab and if this is for court or probation they have the lab and equipment for a full panel
