There are obviously a lot of different types and brands of pain pills, but on average they should stay in your system for no longer than 1-3 days.

If you are worried about them being detected on an upcoming drugs test, you should have nothing to fear if they were legally prescribed by your doctor. You can simply show the evidence of the doctor's prescription to anyone who may query your drug test result. However, if you are taking pain killers illegally then you may have some cause for concern.

If you feel you have an addiction to pain killers then you are certainly not alone. Many may feel it is not as serious as other drug addiction, but this is not really the case. Pain killer addiction can have the same devastating affects on a person's life and can be just as difficult to overcome as addictions to hard illegal drugs such as heroin and cocaine.

It is highly advisable to seek help if you do have a pain killer addiction. This can be done by booking an appointment with a doctor; they will be able to refer you to the most appropriate help such as drug counsellors. Admitting you have a problem is the first and sometimes hardest step to recovery from any drug addiction. It will not be an easy time to go through, especially alone, but the eventual outcome will lead to far more healthy and productive lifestyle.

Most pain pills are opiates. They stay in the system 3 days on average. If you are a daily user, it can take up to 7 days for your system to be clear of them.

Shortly after arriving in Vegas a female friend introduced me to perscription pain med. When I complained about the pain associated with monthly cramps. I took one and was amazed that it took the pain away. It was like a miracle drug. I was 21 and never knew such a pill existed. I spent 20yrs. In a abusive relationship and discovered Norco helped me to co-exist . Need Subx

The Lortab is hydrocodone an opioid derivative. It is an narcotic analgesic and suppresses the cough. It is available in tablet, capsule and syrup.  It can be tested positive for 12 hours in blood, 24 hours in urine and 30 days in hair follicle test.

Alcohol 24 hrs, pain med 1 week, hard drugs 2 weeks. The fatty tissues can hold residue, but cannot be detected by regular testing methods.

Codeine is only in your system for 4-6 hrs. But, the metabolized chemical precursors are what show up in a drug test and they are in your system for up to 2-5 days.

And to the woman w/the addiction...yes state medical cards will pay for suboxone..there very expensive but yes, they will pay for them

Max 5 days depends upon the type of pills also. The capsules takes longer to dissolve than normal pills.
