NO, it will not. People constantly make this mistake. Opiates test for morphine. The chemical that heroin, codeine and morphine break down in to. Hydros do not break down into morphine so therefore will not be detected by a simple 5 panel test.

Just sharing my recent experience...
Recently, I took 2 drug tests for 2 different jobs. One was a saliva test and the other a urine. Both were five panel test including an opiate strip.
I take around 15 mg of hydrocodone everyday, and I don't have a prescription.
Well, did it show up? NOPE, not on either test. I did NOTHING to dilute my urine, and the saliva test was sort of popped on me so I had NO time to prepare for it.
To all of you who are wondering, does hydrocodone show up on a 5 panel test? The answer is NO!!! Just NO! It absolutely does not. They must and I repeat MUST test you specifically for hydrocodone.

No it will not show up. Opiotes are one group, opiods are hydro, they only test for opiotes which is herion, codeine and morphine.

Yes and no.  it is an opiate, but it is refined.  has a short half-life, hard to detect in small doses. If you take more than 15 mg the night before, probably will be positive.
