If one is prescribed a benzo ex.valuimn and took xanax or klonopin and took drug test would it be positive for benzo or show exactly what type benzo you took curious?
All will show up positive for Benzodiazepines (Valium, Xanax, Klonopin, Clonazepam, etc..) like % of benzo metabolites per amount of urine,blood, etc.. In ng/ml . Labs can find the exact type but this is extra testing and extra money.
For examp. Main Xanax metabolites are alpha-hydroxyalprazolam and 3-hydroxymethyl-5-methyltriazolyl chlorobenzophenone. Metabolites of Klonopin include 7-aminoclonazepam, 7-acetaminoclonazepam and 3-hydroxy clonazepam.
If you have prescription for 1 benzo this will cover all group, don't worry and notify them before the test that you have a prescription.
