It will raise red flags for sure. The people that do urine tests know all the tricks people try to pass the test!

Trying to trick the system by using synthetic urine in a drug test will simply land you in more trouble. Drug tests are highly sophisticated these days, and the staff are trained to know when someone is trying to cheat.

There are a number of other "tricks" that are often mentioned when someone's trying to pass a drug test, including the following:

  1. Detox drinks - offered by many different companies online, detox drinks claim to help to flush toxins from your body in order for you to pass a drug test.  In reality, this does not work, and you'll simply be left with less money and a failed drug test.
  2. Baking soda - another urban myth, the consumption of baking soda is supposed to help clear out your system of any drug traces.  Back in the real world, the body is much more complex than a blocked sink that needs to be removed of waste products.  This is a sure fire way to end up in serious trouble.
  3. Vinegar - my final example of the lengths people go to try to cheat on their drug test.  Vinegar is supposed to alter the urine enough for the system to be tricked.  This is, of course, nonsense, and once again you'll fail the test and end up in some serious trouble.

Ultimately, the only way to ensure that you pass a drug test is to not take drugs in the first place.  If you're struggling to stop using drugs, I'd recommend that you seek advice from a medical professional.  Relying on urban myths as a way to pass a drug test will cause you much more bother than it's worth.
