The chances are you won't need to even take an ETG test if you drink bleach.
You'll either be busy in hospital with severe chemical damage to your esophagus and stomach, or you'll be dead.
Drinking bleach to pass a drug test
I don't know where this internet myth came from, but there seem to be quite a few people out there who genuinely believe that drinking bleach will help you pass a drug test.
In reality, bleach does not latch on to, or cancel out any drug metabolites - the compounds that ETG tests look for.
The only thing drinking bleach will do is seriously harm you, or worse.
Bleach contains a number of harmful chemicals that shouldn't be ingested.
What happens if you drink bleach?
In most of the suggestions that I've come across, people are advised to drink a small amount of bleach diluted in water.
Whilst this might not harm you all that much, it won't do you an ounce of good either.
Drinking bleach mixed with water will probably result in slight discomfort of the respiratory tract, eyes, nose. It'll also cause swelling of the throat, and possible vomiting and diarrhea.
In the worst case scenario, drinking bleach will result in chemical burns of your throat and digestive tract, and might lead to toxic poisoning, coma or death.
Faced with those possibilities- I'd rather fail a drug test!
