How Long Does It Take To Rid Your Body Of Anesthesia?

I just had anesthesia within 24 hours ago. I was unconscious for
about an hour. Before the surgery, everyone had told me that I would
wake up confused and loopy. I actually woke up quite alert and aware. I
guess it depends on who you are. I felt so nautious later on. I decided
to sleep it off. When I woke up, the effects were completely gone. I
suggest anyone receiving anesthesia do the same.
