An Adderall xr in urine can be detected within four days of taking the substance. However for someone who has been taking the medication for a long period of time, then an Adderall urine test may show up traces of the substance for longer than four days.

  • What is Adderall?
Adderall is a form of medication that is used in order to treat Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) as well as narcolepsy in some cases. The function of this particular drug is to act as a stimulant and work within the central nervous system of the body.

  • How much should you take?
You should only take the amount of Adderall that has been advised to you by a doctor because in some cases it is possible for an individual to overdose if taking too much of the medication. It is important that you keep in mind the symptoms that come along with an overdose. These usually include difficulties in breathing, vomiting, strong muscle pain and fast heart rate. If any of these symptoms occur then it is vital you visit a doctor immediately.

  • What are the side effects?
As mentioned above there can be some serious consequences if the medication is abused however, there can still be some moderate side effects that may occur when taking this drug. For example, gaining or losing weight as well as having trouble sleeping can be a rather common side effect. You should not worry if you suffer from any minor side effects but if you become concerned with anything then you must contact a medical professional as soon as possible.

It is important that you understand that we are not a medical authority therefore you should speak to a doctor for professional advice and information.

Don't have an exact answer for you all I know is Sunday, November 9th of last year I let a friend talk me into trying adderall... Bad choice. Worst decision I ever made. By the end of the day I had done 2 1/2 10mg pills. I had to take a urinalysis that Thursday, November 13, 2008. I popped for dextromethamphetamine (I'm sure I messed up the spelling). So the 4 day thing is accurate I'd give it 5 to be safe. But again, unless prescribed by a doctor please don't risk any medication or take more than prescribed. Especially if you get regularly tested.

Adderall tests positive for amphetamines. It stays in the system 4 days with one time use and up to 10 days with daily use.

If your currently taking it, it will show up,however, adderall is one of the iffy drugs that companies and a standard lab may not test for. Most of the time your being tested for3 things. Cannabis, cocaine, meth and narcotics.(I guess 4). Like I said, keep in mind, you my not be tested for this. I knew someone in the air force with me in the 80s that did coke everyday.well, he got called for a urine screen and thought sure his career was over. They were only testing for pot.  He was lucky.

It is an amphetamine based drug that comes in tow form regular release and extended release. In urine 1-2 days, blood 12 hours, and hair 90 days. If your body doesn't flush itself well it can stay in your system longer.
