The standard follicle drug test requires at least 60 mg of hair or 60 to 120 strands, cut as close to the scalp as possible and the most recent 1.5 inches, this covers a period of approximately 90 days ,Basiclly hair on the head grows on the average of approx 1/2 inch per month so it takes about a half inch of hair for every 1 month of usage.
So if your metabolic system (blood) is/ was clean for past 90 days don't worry.
